StrengthCon is a 60-minute, coach-led class that’s all about getting you stronger—safely, progressively, and effectively. The secret sauce? It’s built on something called undulating periodization.
Wait… undu-what?
Don’t worry. It just means your workouts change slightly from week to week—some days are heavier, some days are lighter, and some focus more on reps. This variety helps your body adapt faster, avoid plateaus, and reduce the risk of injury (Hevy, n.d.).
A 2013 study found that undulating programs are incredibly effective for building both muscle size and strength—and they keep training fresh and fun (Spineti et al., 2013). So instead of getting bored or burned out, you stay challenged and see results.
Test Your Strength, See Your Progress
At the end of each 20-week StrengthCon cycle, we finish strong—literally—with a 1-Rep Max test. That’s where you safely test the heaviest weight you can lift for just one rep on key exercises like squats, deadlifts, and presses.

Because it gives you a clear, powerful measure of how much you’ve improved. According to research, 1RM testing is one of the best ways to track your real strength gains over time (Levinger et al., 2009).
